Battlefield 3 pays homage to Konami’s Super Contra with this easter egg

Man, I’m really ashamed for not noticing this easter egg myself. So, have you ever wondered what that mainboard, located on top of the office in the SP campaign level where players are asked to defuse an IED, actually was? No? Well thankfully, Reddit’s user ‘vtsteve’ has managed to figure it out. After taking a closer look at it, this board is nothing more than the Super Contra arcade mainboard. Oh yes. Bladeslinger sports console-quality graphics on iOS devices; official trailer released

 
Kerosene Games and Luma Arcade have released the official trailer of Bladeslinger. According to its press release, the game introduces graphics features never seen before on mobile devices and to some extent, that claim is true. Multiple mind-blowing 3D environments and characters, dynamic lighting and shadows with no detail spared are some of the game’s key graphical features. This is the most impressive kill in Battlefield 3

Okay everyone, this is the most impressive kill we’ve ever seen in Battlefield 3. YouTube’s member ‘t4ct1x1’ (with the help of ObnoxiousBrony, No_Other_xD, AkaXBubba and Nightwing) has managed to destroy the AC-130 plane in the most stylish way. These guys used an ATV and some C4 explosives. Oh, and get this; this kill was done with the PS3 version of Battlefield 3. Well done guys, well done! Far Cry 3 – Multiplayer Trailer, Features Video, No Dedicated Servers

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 3, showing off the Multiplayer mode of this upcoming open-world FPS. Unfortunately though, the French company has also unveiled that Far Cry 3 won’t support dedicated servers. In addition, the company has revealed – a couple of days ago – a video that showcased some of the graphical and gameplay features of it. Here comes a new Diablo-challenger; first Sacred 3 screenshots unleashed

Deep Silver has released the first set of screenshots for Sacred 3, an isometric Diablo-like action RPG that will be hitting PC, PS3 and X360 in 2013. Sacred 3 is said to have four player co-op on at all times, even if the player is not connected to the Internet. So, what happens if you’re not connected to the Internet? Well, you’ll have a trio of A.I. allies fighting alongside you. Each ally will have his or her own distinct set of active and passive skills and everyone has a small number of abilities to equip at a time to keep the team from getting overpowered. In addition, players will be able to combine some of the powers of their characters with those of their teamates. Enjoy!
