In an updated Reddit FAQ, CR4ZY0WN3R and Terraria’s creator Redigit have revealed some new interesting information about the PC and the console versions of Terraria. According to the FAQ, the PC version will receive a massive update content with 235 new items. Epic Games impressed gamers back in 2012 when it showcased its latest game engine, Unreal Engine 4, with its Global Illumination support. The Elemental Tech Demo was a beauty to behold, however its latest version – which ran on Sony’s PS4 – did not feature any of it. Okay, most of us were disappointed with that live action trailer of The Evil Within. Thankfully, though, Bethesda and IGN have revealed the first screenshots for it that can be viewed below. This game is planned for a 2014 release, so these shots showcase visuals that are subject to change. The Evil Within looks definitely creepy, so it will be interesting to see what Mikami-san has to offer. And surprisingly enough, The Evil Within runs on the id Tech 5 engine. Back in 2012, we informed you about Among The Sleep, a game that looked like the next ‘Amnesia’ thing. It has been almost a year since then, and we are happy to inform you today about the Kickstarter campaign for it. Among The Sleep looks phenomenal, and according to its Kickstarter page, the team has finished the core gameplay. Team Psykskallar announced that a standalone version of its amazing horror game, Cry of Fear, will be released on April 24th via Steam. The good news is that this standalone version of Cry of Fear will be distributed for free, and won’t require Half-Life in order to be played. Moreover, players will be able to create custom stories for Cry of Fear, so it will be interesting to see how modders will be able to extend or offer completely different stories.
