And the moment has finally come. Bethesda today announced the planned release of The Evil Within, a survival horror game developed at Tango Gameworks under the direction of renowned game designer and studio head, Shinji Mikami. Unfortunately, Bethesda has released a live action trailer, which means we don’t know how this game will look like. It’s a nice trailer, however we’ve been expecting for something more than that.
Best known as the father of the survival horror genre and creator of the Resident Evil series, Mikami is a 20-year veteran of the industry who has developed numerous award-winning titles.
The Evil Within is in development for X360, PS3 and PC, as well as next generation consoles, and is slated for release in 2014.
