No Man’s Sky – Patch 1.09 is now available, improves detection of available PC CPU cores

Hello Games has released a new patch for No Man’s Sky. According to the changelog, this patch improves framerate when scanning colossal structures such as Space Stations or Outposts, improves various settings within the options menu, including advancements in mouse smoothing and refined gamma settings allowing for increased tenebrosity, and improves detection of available PC CPU cores. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI official PC requirements revealed

2K Games has revealed the official PC requirements for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI. PC gamers will need at least an Intel i3 2.5 Ghz or AMD Phenom II 2.6 Ghz CPU with 4GB of RAM, 12GB of free hard-disk space, a 64-bit operating system and a 1 GB DirectX 11 Video Card (AMD 5570 or nVidia 450). SOMA has sold 450K units in its first year, at least 56% coming from the PC

Frictional Games announced today that SOMA has sold 450K units in its first year. And while the team has not provided any individual sale numbers for the two platforms for which the game was made available, we can predict the number of copies that were sold on the PC thanks to SteamSpy. Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade leaves Steam Early Access today

Bandai Namco and Behaviour Interactive announced today the full release of Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade on PC. Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade is a massive online Warhammer game that is powered by Unreal Engine 4, and in order to celebrate this announcement, Bandai Namco released the game’s launch trailer. Cloud Imperium’s Chris Roberts defends CRYENGINE: “I don’t look back and say ‘I wish I’d gone with Unreal’.”

Star Citizen – and its SP counterpart, Squadron 42 – has been in development for five years. The game is powered by CRYENGINE and is among the most ambitious projects we’ve ever seen. However, the game appears to be nowhere near to completion. Not only that, but Cloud Imperium had to rewrite entire whole sections of the engine so that it could support the specific needs of Star Citizen. Still, Chris Roberts defended CRYENGINE, claiming that these changes had to be made, and that things would not have been better if the team chose Unreal Engine 4 or Unity. DOOM – Update #3 is now available, release notes revealed

id Software has released a new update for DOOM. According to the release notes, this update adds Deathmatch, Private Matches, and comes with various fixes and optimizations for both SnapMap and the game’s SP Campaign mode. Titanfall 2 – Official PC requirements revealed + PC graphics settings & lots of PC gameplay footage

When Electronic Arts announced that there wouldn’t be an MP public test for the PC version of Titanfall 2, a lot of PC gamers thought that the PC version would be an afterthought. Well, it appears that this won’t be the case. Electronic Arts revealed today the official PC requirements for Titanfall 2, as well as its PC graphics settings.
