NIS America has announced that the PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA has been delayed once again. The game was originally meant to hit the PC this September, however it was delayed due to continued efforts in improving its gameplay quality. Bungie has released a new update for Destiny 2. According to the release notes, the Destiny 2 patch 1.0.6 fixes a memory leak that caused gradual performance degradation over time. id Software’s Lead Renderer Programmer, Tiago Sousa, has shared some interesting tech details about Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. According to Sousa, Wolfenstein 2 sports almost 30X more drawcalls than DOOM, something that could explain why this game is a bit more demanding that it. Micro-transactions and loot boxes are here to stay. Middle-earth: Shadow of War has them, Call of Duty: WWII has them, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has them. To put it simple, every damn game these days has some sort of micro-transactions. As such, it’s quite refreshing hearing that a new game won’t feature any of it.
