Stardock has released a v2.6 update for its massive-scale RTS game, Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation. In addition to the new tutorials, the update includes several improvements, a new Quantum Upgrade, a rework of air production for the Substrate faction, adjustments to the way players repair their forces, and more. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA has been delayed to 2018

NIS America has announced that the PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA has been delayed once again. The game was originally meant to hit the PC this September, however it was delayed due to continued efforts in improving its gameplay quality. While NIS America did not reveal any ETA when it announced that delay, we were hoping for a 2017. However, this won’t be the case. Destiny 2 – Patch 1.0.6 is now available and addresses memory leaks, introduces stuttering issues

Bungie has released a new update for Destiny 2. According to the release notes, the Destiny 2 patch 1.0.6 fixes a memory leak that caused gradual performance degradation over time. Wolfenstein 2 tech details: +30k drawcalls & up to +6 million triangles per frame, volumetric fog, tessellated water surface and more

id Software’s Lead Renderer Programmer, Tiago Sousa, has shared some interesting tech details about Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. According to Sousa, Wolfenstein 2 sports almost 30X more drawcalls than DOOM, something that could explain why this game is a bit more demanding that it. Monster Hunter World won’t feature any micro-transactions or loot boxes

Micro-transactions and loot boxes are here to stay. Middle-earth: Shadow of War has them, Call of Duty: WWII has them, Star Wars: Battlefront 2 has them. To put it simple, every damn game these days has some sort of micro-transactions. As such, it’s quite refreshing hearing that a new game won’t feature any of it. Ubisoft has just released the first patch for Assassin’s Creed Origins. This patch will update your game’s version to 1.03, and is 1.35Gb in size. Batman: Arkham City – New Fan HD Texture Pack is now available, comparison screenshots

Back in October, we informed you about a fan Texture Pack for Batman: Arkham Asylum. Created by GPUnity, this pack improved a lot of the game’s textures. However, GPUnity has been also working on a texture pack for Arkham City. And yesterday, the modder released a brand new version of it.
