According to SteamDatabase, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has just surpassed 3 million concurrent players. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, is the most successful PC game of 2017 as it has sold more than 25 million copies on Steam.

NervenHölle-Team is currently working on an ambitious Half-Life 2 mod that focuses on making an unofficial sequel to Gearbox Software’s Half-Life game: Opposing Force. The team hinted that it will release this modification in February 2018, and released some brand new screenshots from it.

Modder ‘Zanieon’ has released a brand new version of his Quake III On Doom mod, Hunter’s Moon. Hunter’s Moon is a mod for Zandronum and GZDoom that consists in bringing the single-player/cooperative campaign that Quake III Arena never had.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – First patch changes map selection ratio, reduces latency issues

Bluehole Studio has released the first patch for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. According to the release notes, this update changes the map selection ratio and adjusts the replay system so that players can only view game replays from 3 minutes after death.

Now here is a nice Christmas surprise. Modders ‘Remiros’ and ‘Greatness7’ have released an optimization mod for Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. According to the modders, this mod significantly improves performance in outdoor environments and packs improved shading effects for trees and flora.

Fntastic has informed us about its upcoming multiplayer action horror game, DEAD DOZEN. In DEAD DOZEN, eleven players are being chased by a Ghoul and they have to survive by looting, barricading and cooperating. However, once a player is killed, he/she will turn into a Ghoul that their comrades will have to kill.
