Iceberg Interactive and developer Luminous announced a new PC real-time strategy game, called Circle Empires. As the press release reads, Circle Empires started as an indie demo which was available on Game Jolt and has been downloaded by well over 150.000 strategy fans.

PQube, LookAtMyGame and developer Wonderboy Bobi have announced that Aggelos, a new, retro-styled 2D action-adventure, is now available on Steam. Aggelos is described as a mesmerizing new action-RPG that looks like it was plucked straight out of the 16-bit era but plays like a modern-day marvel.

11 bit studios has released a brand new patch for Frostpunk. According to the release notes, this patch adds a Survivor Mode, achievements for the Survivor Mode, quick save/load functionalities, as well as support for NVIDIA’s Ansel.

Ghost Games has released a brand new update for Need for Speed Payback. According to the patch notes, the June update adds three new cars, adds AllDrive: Quick Races and Chat Wheel, adds new rims, improves various features and fixes an inconsistent color coding issue that appeared once players reached the maximum number of Wraps.

Piranha Games’ president, Arman Nouri, has announced that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has been delayed until 2019. And even though there isn’t any specific date yet, Piranha Games hopes to announce one at MechCon 2018 in December.

Modder ‘KirkBarnes’ has shared some new screenshots for his graphics overhaul mod for id Software’s classic shooter, Quake 2. These screenshots showcase Relief Mapping with self shadowing that will most probably be supported in the next version of quake2xp.
