In an interview with Wired, Rod Fergusson, studio head at The Coalition, confirmed that Gears 5 (Gears of War 5) is built from the ground up for the PC. As such, Fergusson claims that PC gamers will be able to take advantage of all the types of different PC optimisation options they can have.

In an interview with GamesBeat, David Haddad, president of Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, revealed that the publisher plans to move everything to games as a service. This is the second publisher that invests as much to GaaS as possible, with Ubisoft already doing this with pretty much all of their franchises.

According to the developers, the game will feature new game plus, it will have double the number of weapon classes (than its predecessor) and the weapon skill system will be enhanced and upgraded.

Modder ‘luxor8071’ has released a new texture pack for Fallout 4 that aims to improve its landscape textures. According to its description, the FO4 Landscape Overhaul HD mod is a realistic and high detailed HD texture overhaul and all ground textures are in 2K resolution, featuring diffuse, normal and specular maps.
