Need For Speed: Most Wanted Is Now Available For Free On EA’s Origin

EA is currently offering Need For Speed: Most Wanted for free on its Origin platform. Need For Speed: Most Wanted was released back in 2012 (yeap, we’re not talking about the 2005 version) and its PC version was plagued with various performance issues.

But hey, it’s free stuff so we’re pretty sure that some of you will be interested in it. Oh, and act while you still can because we don’t know how long this title will be available on Origin’s “On The House” offers.

You can get the game from here.

Kudos to our reader ‘7thGuest’ for bringing this to our attention.

Have fun!

  1. Cant say no to free 🙂 Sad how i never find another reason to go to Origin tho. It is literally the only time i go to it.When they give out free games..

Needless to say, every time i start the program, it has to update because of that fact. 😛

      1. BF3? Nah. BC2,BF2 and 1942 are enough for me. Add on top of that all the mods, and im set for life. I did play BF3 on my bro’s account, but its not as good. I skipped BF4 after the free beta..

Oh and I got Dead Space in Steam lol

          1. Yea, i heard the same, which makes me wanna try it.

Ive been thinking tho.. what if i get it free in a few years? I’ve waited this long.. might aswell wait a bit more right? 😛

          2. Well its been pretty cheap recently, hell i even got it + premium a little under a year ago for about $30. If you wait too long and bf 2016 turns out to be a popular game, the community for this game might die out.

          3. Well if BF5 ends up being so much better than 4, why would i even bother with 4? I would spend that extra 30 for 5, if 5 is worth it that is.

Also if 4 is about to die out, because 5 will “replace it” then why would i buy a game on its dying bed? 😛 I hate when i get a game, and nobody is playing it -_-

Its really hard to decide if i should get it or not to be honest. I know BF4 is pretty amazing right now, unlike the launch version.

      1. 1 Pick one car
2 finish some races, like 5 or 6, in first place to unlock all the upgrades for that car

        4 Go to step 1

Some cars have the exact same races, so it’s boring to repeat everything everytime you pick a new car

But hey, you can buy some DLC to add variety.

        1. Objection your honor! The statement from the comment above is woefully subjective and lacks a proper meaningful criticism to state the opinion of said commenter as a fact.

          ?_?

  2. I know it’s free and while I don’t mind using Origin, I do mind having a game in my library that’s basically plagued with issues. If it was that bad of a port I’d rather avoid it altogether.

  3. I bought the game back last november when they had it on the black friday deals. I havent had no performances issues with it. It may of had some issues at launch but as far i am aware I can play everything on ultra only issue it has is that it is locked to 60 fps. Its good arcade racer not as good as the original MW better than Rivals imo cant say no to free either xD
