Rocket League Has Sold One Million Copies On Steam

Psyonix has announced that its soccer/racing hybrid, Rocket League, has sold one million copies on Steam. In order to celebrate this milestone, Psyonix is offering the game with a 10% discount for the next 43 hours.

Rocket League is the long-awaited, physics-based multiplayer-focused sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.

Players can choose a variety of high-flying vehicles equipped with huge rocket boosters to score amazing aerial goals and pull-off incredible game-changing saves.

Using an advanced physics system to simulate realistic interactions and powered by Unreal Engine 3, Rocket League relies on mass and momentum to give players a complete sense of intuitive control in this unbelievable, high-octane re-imagining of association football.

  1. Stupid game . It dosent have action with lof of shottings and killing! It dosent have violence! It is not a game for me the SHREDDER! It is a game for 4 years old kids!!

  2. well deserved. hats of to folks at Psyonix. the game might not be a classic masterpiece blabla, but at it’s core, it done the most important thing right…that being really really fun. no matter how long you play. even watching it is really fun. last time they got unlucky with their game but this time the timing was right and Steam’s current status really helped.
