The Witcher 3 Online Mod

The Witcher 3 Online Version 4.0 Released & Detailed

Modder ‘rejuvenate’ has released Version 4.0 for the amazing multiplayer online mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Witcher Online. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.

Version 4.0 has two new big features. These are the new Party System and Cutscene Synchronization. Players can now join a party with other players to synchronize time, weather, and cutscene dialog choices. They can also view players in their party on the HUD. Dialogue choices the party leader chooses are selected for all players in the party. This will help players complete quests more easily together.

Alongside these two new features, Version 4.0 adds proper localization to every string used in the mod for better translation support. It also adds dyed armor color sync.

Furthermore, the new update resolves a rare issue that could prevent the mod from working correctly when many other mods are installed. The update also fixes a bug that could send players outside the map if a cutscene started while they were riding another player. Finally, it fixes a render synchronization issue that could occur when a player was not holding a sword.

The Witcher Online is one of the best mods for TW3. So, don’t sleep on it.

You can go ahead and download its latest version from here.

Speaking of The Witcher 3 Next-Gen, you can also download some other cool mods for it. For example, there is a really cool first-person mod. The Characters Reworked Project is another interesting mod that improves the quality of over 100 characters. Let’s also not forget this mod that lets you kill most in-game NPCs. Then we have this mod that overhauls the game’s combat with better animations, better targeting, and new dodging mechanics.

In July 2024, we shared mods that restored the boat races and added 15 new quests. A modder has also restored the reputation system that CDPR cut from the game. Plus, there is a cool fan expansion, based on the original book “The Last Wish”. Then, in February 2026, a modder shared a DLC-sized expansion mod that added a new questline for Ciri and a new region to explore. Another DLC-sized fan expansion is Dawn Over Kovir. TW3 fans should also try the demo for The WAR Project. The WAR Project is a massive cut content recreation project aimed at realising the vision for a long-forgotten questline, commonly known as the Plague Questline.

In December 2023, we shared this mod that restores content that was cut from all previous The Witcher games. Then, in February 2024, we shared a mod that attempted to remove the fake “hero” light from the game’s cut-scenes. There is also this mod that allows you to explore a part of the world from the first The Witcher game in TW3. Oh, and don’t forget this mod that allows you to ride a Griffin. Or how about this Sekiro-inspired combat mod?

We also have some mods for those playing with Ray Tracing. The RTX Mirrors Mod adds proper reflections to the game’s mirrors. Then we have this mod that improves the fire effects via Ray Tracing Global Illumination. Plus, this mod fixes the Ray Tracing bleach issues.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
