GSC GameWorld has released a short but sweet gameplay trailer for STALKER 2 at the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 event. This trailer showcases the game’s amazing graphics that are powered by Unreal Engine 5.
STALKER 2 will be using Unreal Engine 5 and promises to feature incredible graphics. Back in June 2021, the team also shared the game’s preliminary PC requirements. Do note though that these PC specs do not represent the final ones.
Contrary to other Unreal Engine 5 games, STALKER 2 will be also available on Steam. According to its Steam store page, the game won’t have Denuvo. So, that’s good news for those who boycott the games using it.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl promises to have a huge, realistic world to explore. You’ll get to wander around a massive 64-square-kilometer radioactive zone. This zone will be filled with all kinds of post-apocalyptic environments. Not only that but players will get to decide how their story unfolds. Additionally, the devs claim that the game will have a highly branching epic story.
STALKER 2 will have a dynamic day-night cycle and weather system. The game also promises to have an advanced AI, and a life-simulating system “A-life 2.0”. Furthermore, there will be modding support, as well as a multiplayer mode (which will be added soon after release as a free update).
Finally, GSC GameWorld plans to release the game on September 5th.

If you want to showcase Stalker sequel, you do it with uncut gameplay footage. 2-3 minutes of roaming the map, with some gunplay, inventory management, avoiding anomalies etc. Is that so hard to do or the game doesn't work as intended?
So far we got snippets of gameplay with brain-dead AI and cutscenes. They showed off more cutscenes than the actual gameplay. Also, we have black stalkers now. Slavic black dude xD

Well, I mean yeah. Blacks do exist in Ukraine. They're called Afro-Ukrainians or Black Ukrainians. There are a list of prominent figures you can easily find online from singers/musicians to athletes to politicians who are of African descent living there.
So it's not exactly far-fetched to include a token ethnic minority character in a game like this. How they portray them is the only thing that matters by the end of the day. But of course Yanks are gonna find a reason to complain about this because they're never happy.

Nobody complained about Metro Exodus featuring a couple of Asian characters but all of a sudden it's now an issue having an ethnic minority NPC in a game set in Ukraine? Africa and the Middle East is much closer to Ukraine than China is, dude. I did a quick research and found out that Ukraine isn’t even in the top 25 most homogeneous countries in the world. It’s not even considered homogeneous because of its nature. Russians make up a huge portion of their population even if they are considered a minority. The only European countries to make it on the top 10 are Netherlands, Greece, Poland, Portugal and Italy.

Same deal with Assassin's Creed Shadows. Tom Cruise plays a white saviour in 1800s Japan and not a single peep back in 2003 with the exception of a couple of critics. And now a 2024 video game features a competent black protag in a similar setting and all of a sudden gamers are refusing to buy it simply because of that? It is what it is. I couldn't care less about most of these multiplayer-only games. Especially games like Overwatch which hasn't got a proper single-player campaign it truly deserves. Maybe like most other major studios, they're deviating away from making white male characters for the time being or maybe they just simply never had a Greek character on the pipeline. Why isn't there a Sudanese or a Somali character in Overwatch yet? How about a Colombian or a Venezuelan? There are so many cultures out there that never get spotlight in entertainment, ever. Greeks are represented quite often in gaming: from the GOW franchise, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Assassin's Creed Odyssey to Hades. But if you have a personal issue with Overwatch then take it up with the devs, not me.
I think you're exaggerating a little when you say EVERY game is now making everything black or LGBT. Xbox's showcase clearly showed a couple of games with white male lead protagonists from Indiana Jones to Gears of War. They're just not making them as much as you'd like obviously.
Africa may consist of a lot of black people but they can be pretty diverse depending on where you look. SA is the most clearcut example but you have others like Chad which has a wide range of ethnic minorities living there, so the depiction in RE5 isn't off in the slightest bit in my opinion. It's set in a fictional country after all so it doesn't really matter if blacks are the majority or minority in that game. If you were hoping for them to be the majority then I gotta question your ethics in that sense.

the studio changed the name of the game to chornobyl and other games followed as well like chordnobyl liquidators, they changed the name of chicken kiev to chicken kyiv, every liberal is woke for ukraine, the studio changed the story and characters and removed russians as well as russian language, starfield also removed russian language. I actually like being black despite the downsides that may come with it lol.
