Silent Hill 3 Lakeside Amusement Park Unreal Engine 5

Take a look at Silent Hill 3’s Lakeside Amusement Park in Unreal Engine 5

YouTube’s ‘Da_Drood – Digital Art’ has shared a video, showcasing Silent Hill 3’s Lakeside Amusement Park in Unreal Engine 5. This video will give you a glimpse at what a modern-day remake of this classic SH game could look like. So, if you are a fan of the series, we recommend watching it.

This project took the artist 4 weeks to complete. As he said, he created every asset you are about to see from scratch using the game’s old 3D map as a reference. And, the end result is actually pretty great. The artist created all the 3D models in Blender, and all the textures in Substance 3D Painter.

Sadly, this video does not have any comparison shots between the original version and the remake. That’s a bummer as it would have showed more easily the visual improvements. Still, I’m certain that die-hard SH3 fans will be able to immediately notice them.

For those wondering, no. There isn’t any download link for this fan remake. This video is meant for portfolio purposes. Still, it’s kind of cool, which is why we’ve decided to share it with you.

Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, you may be also interested in these other videos. For instance, you can find some faithful remasters of Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3, which are super cool. Then there’s this fantastic fan remake of STALKER that’s worth a look. Oh, and don’t miss the Grand Theft Auto 6 fan concept in UE5; it’s pretty impressive. Earlier this month, we also shared fan remakes of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and GTA 3, as well as an Uncharted fan game. We also have a fan remaster of Unreal Gold in UE5. You should also watch the full-on remake video for Final Fantasy 9.

Need for Speed Carbon and Tony Hawk’s Underground have also received some cool remakes. And if that’s not enough, there are fan remakes for Death StrandingFallout 4The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s SolitudeGrand Theft Auto 4Need for Speed: Most WantedFallout 4Resident Evil 1Skyrim’s Winterhold and Skyrim’s Whiterun. There is also this Studio Ghibli stylized teaser for Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 5. So, lots of UE5 fan remakes, right? Well, since they’re all really cool, we suggest giving them a watch.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. There’s nothing there that’s any better then what the game looks like today other then better graphics which you can likely just get texture packs for as a mod. I have no problem with this 2003 game as it is graphics wise. It’s pretty obvious that the Epic bribery game is strong here w their UE5 article spam, yukkers.

    1. “There’s nothing” … “Other then better gfx” comment on a UE5 upgrade.

      Oh God you are dumb.

  2. never in my entire life would have wished that SH3 to look like this, many games achieved the desired atmosphere without relaying on RT. look at Bloodborne or silent hill 2/3 or vampire bloodline. but i’ve seen many games look like a mold ridden plastic while using RT.
