Two hours of PC gameplay footage from God of War with Mouse & Keyboard

God of War releases on PC in three days, and you can find below a video showcasing two hours of PC gameplay footage. Sigma Hawk Gaming, the YT channel that captured this footage, also used the Mouse & Keyboard. As such, this video will give you an idea of how the game plays with this PC control scheme.

Unfortunately, Sigma Hawk Gaming has not shared the PC specs it used in order to run the game. It also did not include any framerate numbers.

God of War PC will support true 4K resolutions with unlocked framerates for peak performance. Additionally, it will have a wide range of graphical presets and options including higher resolution shadows, improved screen-space reflections, the addition of GTAO and SSDO, and much more.

It’s also worth noting that the game will support DUALSHOCK 4 and DUALSENSE wireless controllers. Additionally, it will have full support for mouse and keyboard. Not only that, but God of War will support ultra-wide monitors.

God of War will release on PC on January 14th, and you can find its official PC system requirements here.

    I can’t comprehend how this game got so much praise from Playstation fans, I found it a very mediocre action game, certainly not worthy of all the praise it got.

      2. the camera is also the problem, if you need to put indicator arrows behind the character from an enemy you are about to be attacked, then maybe just maybe the over the shoulder camera was a bad idea nad the old camera was fine and was like that for a reason.

    8. dude if you are playing on PS now and trying to compair that to a PC port you really need to know a lot more about PC gaming. Streaming a game will never be better than running the game natively on a PC. Playing God Of War on Ps4 is better than streaming God of War on PC. Playing the game nativaly on PC > GOW PS5. Unless you have a potato.

      1. This, exclusives are often overrated by the console players because they know those are the games that justify their existence to begin with.
        It applies to every fist party Nintendo, every Sony and Xbox (back then) exclusives.

        1. It’s not just that, a lot of these people grew up playing console games. Most of us here on the other hand grew up as PC gamers so our taste in gaming is just different.
          I personally don’t think a single console exclusive is worth playing except for breath of the wild but that’s just my opinion.

I think a lot of praise comes from the IP itself, being an exclusive at the time…and having not competition on the PS4 (PS fans will praise almost anything since they barely have exclusives compared to previous iterations of the console, same is happening with PS5 were Returnal is praise when is quite mediocre).
      As a game, if you put aside the characters (and their interactions) and visuals is quite bland, the combat is serviceable at best and the level design feels ancient.
      There’s like 8 types of enemies with the color palette swap to make you think they are different, and that was OK back in the 16bit era…unacceptable in a AAA game from 2018.

    11. I have it on ps4. Game is ok but it really felt half baked and unfinished. Decent enjoyable title to play through but it’s def not game of the year material. I’d prob give it a replay on pc in the future

      The game isnt that great, its slow paced combat is slowed down the camera sucks, too much bloating ,too scripted and cinematic, meh story, stupid loot mechanics, BOY BOY BOYYYY all the time, meh. Also horizon zero dawn sucks too and of course last of us 2 sucks. Ghost of weebishuma is good.

      The idea borefest daddy of war last of us cinematic slow paced edition is better than dmc 5 of bayonetta 2 is LAUGHABLE.

      1. Well, it is because you are toxic. There are plenty of games that I don’t like but that are still very well regarded and popular. Like Destiny, Overwatch, Final Fantasy, Wow and a lot more. But I don’t go around spewing hate on news articles regarding those games. Because I can tell that even though I don’t like those games, the majority enjoys them.

        And when it comes to God of War, the OVERWHELMING majority enjoys the game. You have every right to not like the game at all. But to say that the game objectively sucks is just flat out wrong.

        Judging from you liking Bayonetta and DMC it sounds like you enjoy fast-paced slash em games, which God of War used to be I guess, but it changed genre. Sad for you I guess but good for the majority because slash em games are such a niche genre that the game had to evolve into something else if it were to reach a larger audience. You can keep your opinions, but tone down the toxicity. That is all
