Arkane has released the second major update for its latest game, Deathloop. According to the release notes, this patch packs a number of NPC and User Interface improvements. Moreover, it improves overall stability, and packs a number of graphical fixes and tweaks.
Unfortunately, though, this patch does not seem to fix the game’s performance issues when framerates fluctuate between 60fps and 120fps. And, to be honest, at this point I don’t expect such a fix. After all, Dishonored 2 (a game that uses the same engine as Deathloop) still suffers from this issue.
But anyway, Update #2 corrects some issues with FSR integration and improved overall implementation. It also fixes bugs, including some that could cause crashes, related to the DLSS and ray tracing graphics options. Additionally, it fixes numerous minor visual glitches, including some related to indirect lighting.
As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

except prey was released same year as zelda, super mario odyssey 2, re7, evil within 2, shadow of war, nier, nioh, divinity original sin 2, horizon zero dawn, standalone uncharted game, standalone dishonored game, standalone xcom game, wolfenstein new colossus and more.
unless you expect them to come out and announce outriders or back4blood as game of the year (as if it matters) then I don’t see anything else other than deathloop and re8.
Played re7, evil within 2,Zelda, nioh and Prey, all of them good games imo.
my point was that there were a lot of good games released in 2017, that’s why prey didn’t receive the attention it deserved. compare that to 2021, a drought of good video games caused by coronavirus.

The disconnect between the press and players seems huge.
