New Battlefield 2042 gameplay footage focuses on Specialists

Electronic Arts and DICE have released a new gameplay video for Battlefield 2042 that focuses on its Specialists. This new gameplay video shows Mackay, Boris, Falck and Casper (you can find more details about these Specialists here).

Battlefield 2042 is a first-person shooter that will be focusing on multiplayer action. Thus, the game will not feature any traditional single-player modes. The game also promises to feature a cutting-edge arsenal into dynamically-changing battlegrounds supporting 128 players. Additionally, it aims to include unprecedented scale, and epic destruction.

Battlefield 2042 will also come with Battlefield Portal. According to DICE, Battlefield Portal is an all-new, community-driven platform where players will be able to change the rules of war by creating, sharing and discovering unexpected battles from Battlefield’s iconic past, present, and future.

Battlefield 2042 will release on October 22nd and will be using NVIDIA DLSS and NVIDIA Reflex techs.

  1. Graphics are same as the play test…unpolished animations…am beginning to believe that this is how the game will be at launch and that will be sad.

  2. They are hiding something that’s for sure. Game is just over a month away and we have seen a very small amount of it. It’s all snippets all the time. Something is wrong.

  3. everything will be better than 5 at this point. honestly the “50 german ww2 knife only vs 4 2042 elite soldiers full equip etc.” mode is the only selling point for me. i´m playing the series since desert combat now and i´m hating their way of making money with bs useless skins. give me the bf4 camo progression, keep your female ginger black non binary specialists to a minimum and i´m happy to buy a key from mmoga or something

    1. The Portal mode seems to be the only good thing so far. This Battefield is just a reskin of the last two Call of Duty games.

  4. That HUD looks like sh*t, the soldiers look extremely skinny for some reason and the music is horrible.
    CoD and Battlefield need to die, they needed to die 10 years ago.
