Far Cry 6 and Resident Evil Village will reportedly support AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution

AMD will officially release FidelityFX Super Resolution on June 22nd, and it appears that the list of the game that will support it has been leaked.

According to Videocardz, there will be six games at launch that will support Super Resolution. These six games are:

  • 22 Racing Series
  • Anno 1800
  • Evil Genius 2
  • Godfall
  • KingShunt
  • Terminator Resistance
  • The Riftbreaker

Videcardz has also revealed some games that will add support for FidelityFX Super Resolution in the future. Among them, we can find Far Cry 6, Resident Evil Village and Forspoken.

Not only that, but it appears that 44 game studios plan to support FidelityFX Super Resolution.

It will be interesting to see the results of Super Resolution in these first games. It will also be interesting to see how NVIDIA will react to the release of FidelityFX Super Resolution!

    1. Seriously. What a massive fail. All the bullshit memes about AMD crushing Nvidia a couple weeks ago with their garbage up-scaling tech. Only to have like 1 title that anyone cares about using it and that title already performs incredibly well.

  1. So 1st year AMD already supports that many games… Only a few I would even buy but still the support lol and not only that but all the dev’s on AMD’s support is huge. DLSS is in trouble.

  2. I think what we should really be looking forward to is using dlss with downsampling. Take the native resolution and upscale that to a higher resolution instead of doing it with a lower resolution. You can do that now with DSR but there should be a solution that isn’t as messy and is better with performance.
