  1. I guess you play on PC since you’re in this site, get the original and install the Redux mod pack, stop begging for a remaster of this game like a peasant, the original is still perfectly playable

      1. Because old PC games are highly backward compatible and we have modding, on the other hand console players (PS players especially) are always begging for remasters in every comment section because it’s their only chance to experience an old game on new hardware.
Not to mention that the remasters are a hit or miss (mostly miss) as you probably know, NFSMW 2005 with a couple of mods is fine, a remaster will only ditch mod support, add chromatic aberration and remove tons of content because of licensing, at least ask for a remake

        1. some people don’t want to put in a disc to play the game, some people travel and don’t bring disks with them every time they travel, some people play on recent computers (desktop or laptop) which don’t have a DVD drive anymore, etc. And some people don’t want to go through the hassle of finding a no-cd patch or some unknown mod which edits game files and executables or whatever from a reliable source and end up getting a virus.

          1. If you’re on PC and can’t do a google search for a goddamn mod just make your life easier and get a console that can play the game you liked, EZ !! The remaster will be trash and insulting to your memories anyway
PS : Also you can get and external DVD drive for less than the full price of the remaster, because yeah paying more than 30$ for a remaster of a 15 years old game is also wrong

  2. how does a remaster already need a day 1 patch… seriously. Plus if the patch comes out the same time as the game is released… they why even announce it. not like anybody would even notice really. It will be part of the game download wouldn’t it?

    1. not if you got the game on disc format like on consoles, or if you already preloaded the game prior to launch (which is more and more common these days)

      1. Ahhh ok as a pc gamer I completely forgot about discs. This makes a ton of sense. Thanks for reminding me 🙂
