You can now play as 2B from NieR Automata in Resident Evil 2 Remake

Modder ‘TXYI’ has released a new mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake that most NieR Automata fans will appreciate. This mod replaces Claire’s Noir DLC costume, comes with full physics effects, and it’s a must-have mod for all NieR Automata and Resident Evil 2 PC fans.

As with most 3D model swappers, this 2B NieR Automata mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake requires FluffyQuak’s mod manager in order to be installed.

Of course this isn’t the only game in which 2B was used to replace the main protagonist. We’ve seen similar mods for Monster Hunter World, Dark Souls, Skyrim, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Dark Souls 3.

In case you are wondering, this mod does not bring any gameplay changes to the game. In other words, don’t expect any melee combat mechanics or sword fighting. 2B will still be using Claire’s arsenal and will behave in a similar way.

Still, it’s really cool witnessing this character finding her way into completely different games, and that’s one of the reasons why we love PC modding.

But anyway, those interested can download this 2B NieR Automata mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake from here, and below you can find some screenshots from it.

Have fun!

  1. Off-topic: Check out the latest build of RPCS3. Visual glitches now fixed in the Gran Turismo games. Just been playing After Burner: Climax at 60fps with no noticeable frame drops. Glorious!

    1. after zelda, it’s proven to me that emulators are useless because i strictly play with mouse and keyboard and they can never feel right with the exception of perfect dark.
thanks for the heads up anyways.

  2. Looks rad but as fun as I had with the game… it’s a one and done deal for me. No way i am gonna play it again

  3. I don’t understand the purpose of these mods… What’s the goal to use a character of another game in a game ?!?

  4. comes with full physics effects

Finally. The clipping frozen skirt in the Sekiro mod was annoying, I’m glad to see this modder has his priorities straight.
