Microsoft and The Coalition have officially announced that Gears of War 5, which is now known as Gears 5, will release on September 10th. In order to celebrate this announcement, the teams have released a trailer dedicated to the Escape mode.
This announcement basically confirms the earlier rumours that surfaced a while back about the game’s release date.
In Gears of War 5, players will take the role of Kait, journey across the biggest, most beautiful Gears world ever created. The game will support both solo play or with a friend in local split-screen co-op, or online co-op.
Microsoft and The Coalition have stated that Gears 5 is built from the ground up for the PC.
