Yatagarasu Gets A Live Action Short Film

Yatagarasu v2
Martin Escageda shared with us a live action film that is based on Nyu Media’s upcoming fighting game, Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm. According to Martin, Nyu Media contacted him to create this live action short. While we acknowledge that a live action short based on a fighting game is quite challenging, we have to admit that we were let down by this movie’s first half. The second half – in which Martin Escageda tried to capture the game’s aesthetics – is better, though we’ve seen better. Still, it’s a good try so make sure to at least give it a go. Why you ask? Because despite its somehow disappointing end results, it’s pretty obvious that it took a lot of effort to create it. Enjoy! Continue reading Yatagarasu Gets A Live Action Short Film

Sonic the Hedgehog In First Person Mode

Sonic
Kotaku has spotted an interesting new video, in which we get a taste of Sonic the Hedgehog in first person mode. This video is similar to the one that was made for Super Mario Bros, though we have to admit that this ‘Sonic’ version feels a bit off. To be honest, Sonic game in first person mode would simply not work, and this video proves that SEGA’s platformer is not meant to be played via any other viewpoint, aside from the classic side-scrolling one of course. Still, it’s a unique concept so go ahead and take a look at least! Continue reading Sonic the Hedgehog In First Person Mode
