Your boat has been destroyed and you are trapped on a mysterious island with insane inhabitants. Konami released seven new screenshots for Silent Hill: Downpour. The game looks great, although there is a blur filter that hides most of the low-res textures that have been used. The problem however with Silent Hill’s previous part wasn’t its graphics but various gameplay and control mechanics that were full of bugs. If there was one thing we loved on Deus Ex, that would definitely be the freedom it gave us to do whatever we wanted to. Even things we wouldn’t expect from a videogame, like the ability to play some basketball. Do you remember it? If so, get ready as it will be also featured in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It’s pretty obvious that the team was inspired by the first game, and we are happy to report that we’ll once again test the game’s physics with this basketball game. Though we have to admit that we’d like to see some new mini-games instead of just the old ones. Still, it’s a small detail that brings back so many memories.
