Man, lots of game trailers today. Focus Home Interactive has released a new trailer for Spiders’ upcoming action RPG, Bound By Flame. Bound By Flame will feature a combat system similar to the one found in Mars War Logs (though it will offer a bigger selection of attacks and skills, more fluid and spectacular animations, and the use of Magic). The game is scheduled for a 2014 release on PC, X360, PS3 and PS4. Enjoy!

I recently played Mars WL and I liked it. This one seems much better in everything.
Yeah I was surprised at how good Mars War Logs is, this game is looking pretty damn good compared to it.
Yeap, it was a simple game but with some very good designs. Especially the crafting and the combat.
cheap, polished and fun. No idea whats up with the low ratings, what they expected the next skyrim/dragon age?
Likewise, it was great I wasn’t expecting it to be, not one bit.
That menu theme was kinda unique as well IMO…even if the rest of the soundtrack wasn’t.
Initially I was confused by Mars WL’s gameplay because it wasn’t what I perceived it to be from the trailer. In the end I liked the game because it’s different from what I’m used to while still being a good game on its own. In fact Mars WL started my obsession to avoid a lot of AAA titles and look for other hidden gems from indie or small, obscure developers. I still have RPGs from well funded or high profile devs that I never finished but something about Mars WL made me play it non-stop till the end.

I’ve tried it and it’s ok. It hooked me in for a while but never finished it. Perhaps it’s the combination of repetitive combat and lengthy game time that made me tired of continuing. I think there’s a particular game mechanic in it that hooked me in but I don’t remember what.
i finished it, it wasnt particulary long, anyway it was nice having a decent game with nice mechanics and decent level design, you dont have to finish it, but you saw that it was a indie game yet so well made….cant say the same for risen 2.
