The Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, can now boot and run Halo 3

We all know by now that Microsoft does not plan to release Halo 3 on the PC (unless of course the Master Chief Collection comes to our platform). As such, PC gamers can only rely on emulation in order to play this classic console shooter. And we are happy to report that the Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, can now boot and run the game. Here are lots of X360 games, including Red Dead Redemption, running on the Xenia emulator

It appears that the team behind the most promising Xbox 360 emulator, Xenia, is making great progress. While the emulator is still unable to run commercial games at an acceptable speed, it is actually able to boot and run them. And while this may not seem like something special to you, it’s spectacular progress for the world of emulation. Below you can find videos showcasing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Red Dead Redemption, Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, Splatterhouse and Silent Hill 3 running on the latest version of Xenia. Xenia – Most Promising Xbox 360 Emulator – New Video Shows Rayman 3 HD Running (Full Of Glitches)

Xenia is the most promising X360 emulator that is currently under development. Today, YouTube’s ‘John GodGames’ shared a video, showing Rayman 3 HD running via this emulator. Xbox 360 Emulator “Xenia” Runs Real Game “A-Train HX” at 60FPS

Ben Vanik, creator of the Xbox 360 Emulator “Xenia” has released a new video, showcasing his emulator running A-Train HX at 60 frames per second. As Ben noted, there are currently a few graphical issues due to unimplemented shaders, but this game is currently fully playable on Xenia. Xenia – Most Promising Xbox 360 Emulator – New Video Shows In-Game Footage From “The Conveni 200X”

Ben Vanik has shared a video, showing off the most promising X360 emulator running a commercial game. While the game itself does not contain complex visuals and the framerate is really low, the fact that an emulator can boot a commercial X360 game is HUGE.
