Following its free-to-play title and Call of Juarez: Gunslinger announcements, the French company has revealed that Trials Evolution is coming back to the PC platform. Trials Evolution: Gold Edition will include everything from the Trials HD game, and will feature leaderboards, online multiplayer and user-made content. Ubisoft has announced a new free-to-play game that is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed 3 and Far Cry 3, and below you can view its announcement trailer alongside its first screenshots. The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a dungeon crawler in which players build their own castles (from a pool of available tiles), fill them with monsters, and let other players slaughter them and collect the loot. The kind of enemy units and bosses you can drop into your castle is determined by your level. It’s an interesting concept for a free-to-play game, that might actually work. As we have guessed, Ubisoft has announced the next installment in the Call of Juarez series. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is developed by Techland and is powered by the company’s in-house engine. Contrary to its previous part, Gunslinger will return to the old West theme. According to Ubisoft, Gunslinger is a real homage to the Wild West tales, and will tell the untold truth behind some of the greatest legends of the Old West. The game will feature a bullet-time effect, as well as a skill tree with which you can upgrade your gun skills. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is slated for release in early 2013 on Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC, and you can view below its first screenshots and its debut trailer. Enjoy! Players will discover the truth about the depraved drug & human trafficking on the island, get tips on how to strategically use outposts to fight and survive and engage in hunting, crafting, mini-games and side missions to earn cash for weapons and for leveling up. I tell you – Ubisoft is playing a joke on us. Remember when they complained about the PC piracy rates being too high? Facts: we love Assassin’s Creed and we love parkour. Therefore, it was to be expected to share this video. YouTube’s member ‘devinsupertramp’ has created an Assassin’s Creed film in which Ronnie Shalvis is dressed up as Connor Altair – a costume that was made by Devin’s friend Allison Dredge – and showcases his parkour/free running skills. Splinter Cell fans, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist that focuses on the stealth gameplay that will be featured in this Splinter Cell game. The level that is showcased here is the same with the one that was demonstrated in this year’s E3 and shows a completely new way to complete it. Now we know, the AI seems a bit off, but then again that’s how things were in previous Splinter Cell games. Yes, the dog should have noticed Sam when he jumped over the wall and yes, the enemies have no peripheral vision. Ubisoft has released the second episode in this four part, behind the scenes, series that focuses on the combat, weapons and tactics of Assassin’s Creed III. In Assassin’s Creed III, players will be able to discover the brutal realities of warfare during the American Revolution and find out why the guerilla tactics used by the Americans would turn the tides of war.
