Far Cry 3’s embargo has been lifted and as we don’t have any performance analysis to share (for now), we bring you today a 16 minutes footage from the PC version, with Ultra settings, courtesy of WhySoSirius. The commentary is in German, but who really cares, right? As we can see, Far Cry 3 looks great and there is no noticeable pop-up when using Ultra settings. Question now is how the game performs (as there is no framerate indication and we don’t know the specs that were used) and whether this title takes advantage of multiple CPU cores. Enjoy! Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 3, showing off the Multiplayer mode of this upcoming open-world FPS. Unfortunately though, the French company has also unveiled that Far Cry 3 won’t support dedicated servers. In addition, the company has revealed – a couple of days ago – a video that showcased some of the graphical and gameplay features of it. As promised, Ubisoft has released a new stealthy trailer for Blacklist, showcasing a dark and shadow-ish environment that will be featured in this new Splinter Cell game, as well as Chaos Theory’s classic mechanic Closer Than Ever. This trailer is said to be dedicated to all classic Splinter Cell fans, so go ahead and take a look at it. Ubisoft is definitely trying to win its fans back, so it will be interesting to see whether they succeed on that. Ubisoft has released the second episode of its Far Cry Experience live-action webseries, in which Christopher-Mintz-Plasse realizes how much trouble he will have to face as Vaas enters the scene. Okay Far Cry 3 fans, it seems that Ubisoft won’t pull another ‘Assassin’s Creed delay’ on us, as its highly anticipated FPS (with those lovely Uncharted-like sequences and quick-time events) has gone gold on all platforms, and is planned for a November 29th release in Europe, a November 30th release in The UK and a December 4th release in North America. Ubisoft has revealed – via Splinter Cell’s official FB page – a new screenshot for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, showcasing a darker indoor envrionment which means that the game will feature levels similar to those of the older Splinter Cell titles. In addition, the company has unveiled that a new footage for Blacklist is on its way, though it did not reveal any ETA.
