Far Cry 4 – Patch 1.6 Released – Reduces Memory Usage, Adds Hotkey To Disable HUD

Ubisoft released last week a new update for the PC version of Far Cry 4. According to its release notes, this patch reduces the memory that the game consumes, adds a hotkey via which PC gamers can toggle on/off the game’s HUD, and fixes various graphic, control, and Crossfire issues. Man, there is something really weird going on at Ubisoft’s offices. It’s as if the French company desperately wants to be flamed by PC gamers. That, or they really need to start putting some effort into their PC games. Assassin’s Creed: Unity – Patch 4 Is Now Available On Steam, Is 2.9GB In Size

The latest update for the Steam version of Assassin’s Creed: Unity has just been released. Contrary to the console versions, the PC patch is 2.9GB in size. The Crew – PC Performance Analysis

On December 1st, The Crew’s designer Serkan Hasan claimed that this MMO racing game would not suffer from all the launch issues that plagued both Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. And to his credit, Serkan was right; The Crew runs amazingly well on the PC, offers a native 60fps option from the get-go (contrary to its alpha build), packs a variety of graphics options to tweak, and feels like a really polished title. The Crew – Ultra Versus Low Comparison Screenshots

A couple of weeks ago, Ubisoft claimed that The Crew would not be plagued by the performance – and launch – issues of both Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. And to its credit, the French company was right.
