Modder Pluto released yesterday the latest version of his Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing Mod for Skyrim. According to the modder, this mod makes the lighting more realistic without the use of screen shader injections or other post-processing. This means that there will be no performance decrease at all, and all weather and locations have unique light settings. You’ve been asking for this, so here it is. Although gionight hasn’t released his ENBSeries settings yet, modder Confidence Man went ahead and tweaked the ENBSeries Skyrim Mod to recreate a more realistic look. The end result, as you can see in the following screenshots, is jaw-dropping and quite similar to gionight’s offer. A few days ago, we informed you about the latest version of SkyBoost, a CPU performance optimization mod that is based on Arisu’s TESV Acceleration Layer. After the findings of Arisu, we were hoping that Bethesda would acknowledged and fix it in a future patch. Apparently, that’s not the case as Alexander Blade, author of SkyBoost, claimed that Bethesda has no interest in boosting the PC version of Skyrim. A few days ago, we informed you about a new CPU performance boost tool that was made by Alexander Blade and is based on Arisu’s TESV: Acceleration Layer tool. The good thing about SkyBoost is that it does not require the SKSE, which basically means that you simply install this plugin – like most others – and you are good to go.
