DRAGON QUEST HEROES II is now available on Steam

Square Enix has announced that DRAGON QUEST HEROES II is now available on Steam. Developed by KOEI Tecmo, the title brings back the characters, music and deep role-playing mechanics that fans know and love about DRAGON QUEST. The game also adds new and exciting features including multiplayer, an interconnected single player world, the ability to play as iconic monsters and more. Game development company, realtech VR, is currently working on an unofficial remake for the first Tomb Raider game. NieR: Automata has physically shipped & digitally sold one million units

Square Enix has announced that the worldwide shipment and digital sales of its action-RPG, NieR: Automata have exceeded one million. While the company did not reveal specific percentages for “shipped” and “sold” units, we do know that almost 1/4 of digital sales is coming from the PC platform. Square Enix removes the 14-day time restriction from Final Fantasy XIV’s free trial

SQUARE ENIX has brought new enhancements to the FINAL FANTASY XIV free trial in preparation for the upcoming release of Stormblood. The latest update removes the 14-day time restriction previously placed on free trial accounts, allowing anyone to experience the award-winning MMO for free, up to level 35. New NieR: Automata mod removes the 60fps cap

Well, you gotta love modders. As we’ve already said, NieR: Automata is locked at 60fps. Now while this is perfectly fine by us (after all, it’s not locked at 30fps), we know that some PC gamers were a bit disappointed by such a thing. NieR: Automata – FAR Mod 0.3.0.1 is now available, improves God Rays and Bloom effects

Modder Kaldaien has released a new version of his FAR mod for NieR: Automata. This new version features the God Rays and Bloom effects improvements that Durante has discovered, meaning that PC gamers can now enable higher quality effects in order to further improve the game’s visuals. NieR: Automata – Kaldaien’s FAR mod fixes stuttering, Durante working on improving God Rays & Bloom

All hail modders. As you may already know, Kaldaien has released an amazing mod that addresses the NieR: Automata’s fullscreen issues and is packed with DrDaxxy’s Global Illumination performance tweaks. However, the game still suffered from some annoying stuttering issues during the cut-scenes. Well, good news everyone as the latest version of the FAR mod addresses these issues.
