Nixxes Software and IO Interactive have released a new update for the PC version of Hitman: Absolution. According to its changelog, this patch adds an option to either lower or disable the game’s Bloom effect, improves – slightly – the general performance, and adjusts the game’s difficulty levels. In addition, the disguise parameters on ‘Professional’ difficulties have been tweaked via this update. You can view its complete changelog below. Our dear friends over at VGLens have revealed two new tech demos for Square Enix’s Agni’s Technology. These demos show off two of the trailer’s characters, in which the developers adjust various characteristics on the fly. The level of detail is simply mind-blowing and it is no stretch to say that Agni’s Technology features the most detailed characters we’ve ever seen. Our reader Sid Spyker has informed us about Square Enix’s upcoming, that is planned to be officially unveiled on December 12th. According to its teaser site, this game has something to do with stars. Therefore, we can assume that it is a new Star Ocean – or another, new space IP. It will also be interesting to see whether this game hits the PC, especially if it is a Star Ocean title. Nixxes Software and Square Enix have released the first PC patch for Hitman: Absolution. According to its release notes, this patch enables DX10 owners to use the simplest version of the Depth Of Field effect, fixes various startup issues, and addresses all problems with the Sniper Challenge Unlocks not carrying over into Hitman: Absolution.
