Vanquish – First official beta patch fixes “enemy damage” & health regeneration at higher framerates

Little Stone Software has released the first official beta patch for the PC version of Vanquish. According to the release notes, this patch addresses the “enemy damage” bug that we’ve already reported, and fixes an issue with health regeneration at higher frame rates. Modder is working to fix Vanquish’s FPS related damage PC issues, first alpha version available

As we’ve already reported, the PC version of Vanquish suffers from some really weird damage issues that are due to its unlocked framerate. And even though Little Stone Software has not commented yet on this, Reddit’s member ‘Methanhydrat‘ is currently working on a temporary fix. Vanquish – PC Performance Analysis

Vanquish is a game that was released on old-gen consoles in 2010. Due to major performance issues on those consoles, however, a lot of gamers wanted to play this game on the PC. Come to think of it, Vanquish was one of most requested games to be ported from old-gen consoles to the PC. Still, and despite that huge demand, SEGA was not moved at all… until recently. SEGA appears to be really happy with the PC sales of Bayonetta

Bayonetta was released on the PC last month and it appears that it has met – or even exceeded – SEGA’s expectations.
