Rebellion has released a new update for their first person sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. This update adds two new maps for DM and TDM, new Command Line Options, in-game Console, advanced Shadows option, as well as Super-Sampling for all those with high-end PC configurations. In addition, this patch comes with various fixes and Dedicated Server improvements. It’s ironic, isn’t it? Sniper Elite V2 was originally slated for release exclusively on consoles. Fast forward twelve months and here we are with a PC version that runs better than the console one, looks better, comes with an exclusive team deathmatch mode and will receive a free DLC in the near future. Rebellion has released the PC version of Sniper Elite V2, and it’s time to see how this sniper game performs on our beloved platform. Sniper Elite V2 was self-published by Rebellion themselves and is a nice port. There have been some improvements to the game’s textures and there are keyboard indications for all in-game actions. There is also a mouse smoothing option, so be sure to disable it if you want to avoid any mouse acceleration side effects. Unfortunately, there is no option to adjust the FOV, and you might notice some pop-in when the levels are initially loaded. Rebellion and 505 Games released the launch trailer of their sniper game, Sniper Elite V2. Sniper Elite V2 is a third person tactical shooter set in the dying days of World War Two and is a next-generation reboot of 2005’s acclaimed original, Sniper Elite. The game weaves an explosive story of an undercover American OSS agent, stalking enemy prey across key historical locations from the Battle of Berlin in a mission to unravel the mysteries and dangers of the German V-2 rocket programme.
