Although we knew that Nvidia would introduce a new feature to its ForceWare drivers, we didn’t expect to find it hidden in the latest ForceWare 290.53. This new feature is called Frame Rate Limiter and as its title suggest, it can limit your framerate to a specific value. Unfortunately, the Frame Rate Limiter is not present on Nvidia’s Control Panel, therefore you’ll need Nvidia’s Inspector Tool, a third-party program, to enable it. As promised, Nvidia released a new ForceWare beta driver for its cards. This new driver is essential to all 3D Vision owners as it includes 3D profiles for a lot of games that were released these past days. Moreover, there are some updated SLI profiles so be sure to download them if you own an SLI system. I love it, I simply love it. A few hours ago we posted some rumored slides of the upcoming AMD high-end card, Radeon 7970, and here comes some leaks from Nvidia’s next generation high-end graphics card. As we said and in our previous post, take everything you’re about to read and see with a grain of salt. According to the slide – leaked in the Chinese board PCINLife – Nvidia will skip the 6xx series and will move on to the 7xx series. Now the following slide of GTX780 seems suspicious, as it’s similar to the one of Radeon 7970 that was posted earlier, but shows a 100% performance boost over GTX580. Timothy Lottes Violator released a new version of his handful tool, FXAA Inject Tool. FXAA Post Process Injection – as is its full name – injects different post processing methods to games, like Anti Aliasing, Sharpening, Bloom, Color Tones etc. FXAA is a cost effective Anti Aliasing process done in one single pass, which means that it has virtual no impact on the overall system performance. Nvidia has just released the first beta release from the Release 290 family of drivers. The ForceWare 290.36 Beta support GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400, and 500-series desktop GPUs as well as ION desktop GPUs, and come with lots of improvements, fixes and additions. SLI gamers will enjoy better support in Crysis 2, Heroes and Generals, Inversion, Stronghold 3, and -wait for it – Syndicate. Great news for Nvidia users as the green company has just released a new beta version of their ForceWare drivers. The 285.79 are basically essential to those interested in enjoying most upcoming triple-A games and feature new or updated SLI profiles, as well as new 3D profiles. In addition, the driver package comes with the HD Audio driver 1.2.24.0 and the PhysX System Software 9.11.11.07. As promised, Nvidia released a new set of drivers that are optimized for DICE’s first person shooter, Battlefield 3. These new ForceWare drivers feature several performance and compatibility enhancements for the final release of the game and are highly recommended. In addition, ForceWare 285.62 include some enhanced profiles for both Batman: Arkham City and RAGE. Nvidia released today a new beta driver set for their GPUs. The biggest feature of these new beta drivers is Battlefield 3’s huge performance gains as according to the release notes, they offer up to 38% increase on GeForce GTX 570 at 2650×1600 and under the DX11 API.
