Now here is an interesting rumour. Videocardz has reported that NVIDIA may release a GTX1160 GPU alongside the RTX2060 graphics card in mid-January. Just Cause 4 has just been released on the PC and we’ve decided to initially test our EVGA GeForce RTX2080Ti XC Gaming in order to capture some 4K screenshots. For this initial benchmark, we used the latest NVIDIA WHQL drivers (417.22), maxed out every setting to Very High – but disabled anti-aliasing – and the results are not that great. Just as we predicted, NVIDIA has officially announced the NVIDIA Titan RTX graphics card. According to the green team, the NVIDIA Titan RTX is powered by the Turing architecture, bringing 130 Tensor TFLOPs of performance, 576 tensor cores, and 24 GB of ultra-fast GDDR6 memory to your PC, and will be priced at $2500. It appears that NVIDIA will release a new Titan card based on the Turing architecture, called NVIDIA GeForce Titan RTX. Although we don’t know much, we expect this GPU to be more powerful than the RTX2080Ti, and it will be even more expensive (so we’re basically looking at a $3000 GPU?). DICE details upcoming real-time ray tracing RTX optimizations coming to Battlefield 5
In an interview with Eurogamer, EA DICE’s rendering engineer Yasin Uludag has detailed the optimizations that are coming to Battlefield 5’s real-time ray tracing RTX effects. According to Yasin, performance of the RTX effects will noticeably improve in the future as both NVIDIA and DICE are working on various performance improvements.
