Half Life 3 & Left 4 Dead 3 Confirmed By Counter-Strike Co-Creator

Counter-Strike’s co-creator ‘Minh “Gooseman” Le’ has spilled the beans and confirmed both Half Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. In a recent video interview, Gooseman revealed that Valve is currently working on both of the aforementioned titles. And while Gooseman was a bit hesitant about Half Life 3, he mistakenly thought that Valve had already confirmed Left 4 Dead 3 and shared his thoughts about it. NeoGAF’s member ‘crazy buttocks on a train’ has posted an image from what seems to be a remade version of Left 4 Dead 2’s map on Source Engine 2. There is no doubt that this is our first look at Source Engine 2, however it’s not confirmed whether this remade map is actually from the rumored third part of the Left 4 Dead series. New Evidence Suggests That Source Engine 2 & Left 4 Dead 3 Are Currently Under Production

Reddit’s user ‘Tunesz’ has shared the following image, showcasing an internal change log at Valve that was captured during a recent tour of Valve’s Seattle office. According to the change log, Source Engine 2 and Left 4 Dead are currently under development, something that should not obviously shock us. After all, we’ve known for a while that Valve was working on a new version of its Source engine. On the other hand, Left 4 Dead 3 was hinted a couple of days ago by Valve’s Marc Laidlaw. Still, it’s good to see an almost official confirmation for both of them. Valve has not commented on this yet (and we don’t expect it to do so). Valve’s Marc Laidlaw Releases A Video Teaser Of ‘Something’

Valve’s Marc Laidlaw has released a video teaser of something. In this video, Laidlaw questions himself whether he should ‘do it’. This video shows off an elevator and Laidlaw’s finger is almost touching the button for the third floor. However, towards the end of the video, Laidlaw pushes the ‘L’ button. By putting these two together, we may be witnessing the first official teaser for Left 4 Dead 3. After all, there were some rumors – two days ago – about a counter that appeared on an unknown website all of a sudden. Stay tuned for more, and enjoy the teaser after the jump!
