Konami Digital has announced it has extended its exclusive agreement with UEFA for the use of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competitions in its Pro Evolution Soccer series. The publisher has also bolstered various licences for use within its forthcoming PES 2013 title, with the Spanish league licensed in its entirety, while all the club’s from Italy’s highest league are also included. Konami has released a new set of screenshots and a Gamescom 2012 trailer for its upcoming soccer game, PES 2013. Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 promises to be the best PES game ever. Yes yes, we’ve heard this claims and before, however, its demo looked – and played – better than any of its previous parts. This is the first game in which Shingo “Seabass” Takatsuka is not involved, and might as well be better than its predecessors. PES 2013 is scheduled for release later this year. Enjoy! Konami has released a trailer for PES 2013’s demo. The demo is currently available to all platforms and according to its press release, PES 2013 marks major advancements for the popular soccer game including new game mechanics such as PES FullControl, where players are given total control over every pass, shot and even first touch to the ball. Back in May, we told you that Kojima would showcase Fox Engine in July. Well, it seems that was half the truth, unless the Japanese company decides to unveil what has been shown in this year’s Comic-Con behind closed doors. Hideo tweeted a couple of hours ago that we could expect lots of happenings at ComicCon. And although the Konami team did not reveal anything to the public during Comic-Con, Cliff Bleszinski and some other developers were pulled into a back room at Comic Con by Hideo and were showcased some ‘crazy new secret stuff’.
