Homefront: The Revolution – New Cinematic & Gameplay Trailers Released

During Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 conference, Deep Silver revealed two new trailers for Homefront: The Revolution. Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world FPS where you must lead the Resistance and wage guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. Report: Homefront: The Revolution Game Director Resigns

Things are definitely not looking good for both Crytek and the new Homefront title. Last month, we informed you about the difficulties the German studio is currently facing and today, Kotaku reported that the game’s director has resigned. So yes, Crytek is going downhill as we speak unless the company somehow finds a way to: a) deny all the latest rumors with facts instead of PR statements and b) miracle happens. Report: Crytek UK Temporarily Stops Working On Homefront: The Revolution

Things are definitely not looking good for Crytek. While the company has rolled out a new version of its CRYENGINE SDK, there are reports that its UK studio has stopped working on Homefront: The Revolution as its employees have not been paid yet. Homefront: The Revolution – E3 2014 Gameplay Footage Unveiled

During SpikeTV’s E3 coverage, Deep Silver and Crytek unveiled the first gameplay footage for the new Homefront game that will be powered by CRYENGINE, Homefront: The Revolution. Homefront: The Revolution will throw players into a near future dystopia and will feature free-roaming environments. The game is planned for a 2015 release on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
