Milestone has just revealed the first details for Gravel’s Career mode. Players will be able to choose their path, improve their reputation, gain skills and beat the Off-Road Master in charge. Milestone has released the second developer diary for Gravel that focuses on the game’s Career mode. The Career mode was developed around the Off-Road Masters, the annual TV show where the best riders in the world compete in races all over the planet, organized by the Gravel Channel, the extreme sports TV channel completely dedicated to off-roading. Milestone has released a new set of screenshots for its upcoming off-road racer, Gravel. These new screenshots are full of post-processing effects with excessive use of depth of field, resulting in images that look artistically fine, however they also cleverly “hide” the game’s visuals. Gravel – First developer diary video focuses on the engine powering it

Milestone has released the first developer diary video, in which the development team discusses about the engine powering its new arcade off-road racer, Gravel. Contrary to all of its previous titles, Gravel will be powered by Epic’s engine, the Unreal Engine 4. As the team noted, it decided to use Unreal Engine 4 mainly in order to make significant strides forward from a technological point of view. Therefore, Unreal Engine 4 will allow Milestone to create extremely vast tracks that were really difficulty to make before.
