Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 3, in which the company introduces us to Hoyt, the depraved mastermind behind the insanity and atrocities of the island. This video will let players learn about the twisted “rules” that he lives by and how he exacts punishment on his enemies. Ubisoft has released a 13 minutes walkthrough for Far Cry 3 in which Mark Thompson, lead level designer and Jamie Keen, Lead game designer, takes us on a trip into the game’s environments. In terms of visuals, this level looks really close to those that were featured in the first Far Cry game. Which is good for all fans of this series. Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be releasing a Minecraft inspired Far Cry 3 universe free for download on PC, on October 26th. The pack will allow players to explore and survive the Minecraft experience through the warped lens of Far Cry 3, with modifications to all aspects of the original game, including environments, weapons and tools. Ubisoft has revealed the official system requirements for its upcoming open-world FPS title, Far Cry 3. The good news here is that Far Cry 3 will support DX11 (for high-end GPUs), as well as DX9 and Windows XP. The bad news is that these system requirements are so generic that do not provide us anything worth writing about. Ubisoft did not even provide us with the Hard-Disk requirements, or the ‘real’ release date for the PC version of its title.
