Frontier Developments has revealed a new gameplay clip from its upcoming Elite sequel, Elite: Dangerous. This video showcases the multiplayer mode and the some of the ships that will be featured in it. As you may have guessed, Elite: Dangerous is still in pre-alpha stage, thus there is no HUD and the ship trails are simple placeholders. Good news for all Elite fans, as David Braben’s Frontier Developments has launched a Kickstarter UK project Elite: Dangerous on PC. In this new Elite game, players will begin with a spacecraft and a small sum of Credits and they will be able to trade, pirate, bounty-hunt, explore, and salvage their way to wealth and fame, building on those key elements of the previous games, and with sumptuous graphics only now possible with the performance of today’s machines.
