Elite: Dangerous has rich procedural cloudscapes, first early footage unveiled

David Braben andĀ Frontier Developments have unveiled the first early footage of Elite: Dangerous, the sequel to the classic Elite space game. In this video, Braben talks about procedural content and showcases some rich cloudscapes that can be generated by their procedural techniques. As Braben points out, it looks stunning, even at this early stage so go ahead and take a look.
The Kickstarter campaign of Elite: Dangerous has 49 days left to it, and it has not hit its initial goal yet. So make sure to back it up if you’re interested in it.
