EA released today five new screenshots and a trailer for their upcoming Harry Poter game, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 the Videogame. As you may have guessed, the game is based on the Harry Poter movie and is scheduled for a July release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, Nintendo DS and PC. This is the way Crytek should have updated their textures. In case you don’t know him yet, MaLDo is a PC modder that has been preparing these past months a Texture Pack for Crysis 2. His first screenshots were mindblowing and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on his Pack. Crytek released yesterday the DX11 Pack and a High-Resolution Textures Pack for Crysis 2. These two packages will be enabled with the upcoming 1.9 Patch, but someone has already managed to enable those high-resolution textures. It seems that Crytek didn’t replace each and every texture of the game with a high-resolution version. Instead, the company concetrated on those that were really blury (low-res) and upped their resolution in an attempt to offer a crisper image. Crytek announced that the much-anticipated DX11 patch for Crysis 2 will be released next week. Additionally, the company released a High-Resolution Texture Pack, as well as the DX11 Pack that will be required for all those funky DX11. EA has finally released the sequel to one of the greatest third person games. Developed by Amerinan McGee’s team, ‘Alice: Madness Returns’ follows Alice on a journey through a wildly corrupted and shattered Wonderland to uncover the truth behind her haunted past and tortured psyche. We’ve always wondered how Battlefield 3 would look to consoles. Well here is the answer. The console version was showcased during the ‘Late Night’ show with Jimmy Fallon. There are some LOD issues here and there but overall the game looks good and runs great. It’s obviously not as good as the PC version, but still. Kombatants, get ready for the ultimate version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. EA will release in the coming days a new update for your beloved game. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3’s latest version will include all 23 fighters in all 16 arenas. As with the previous versions, it will be 3D and will take advantage of both iPhone’s and iPad’s touch screen. Both the iPhone and the iPad versions will an all-new 2-Player Mode that will give you the ability to fight head-to-head on the same iPad, as well as the classic multiplayer mode via local WiFi or Bluetooth. So you’ve been wondering what Crytek has been doing this whole time and couldn’t release the DX11 patch? Here is your answer. The second DLC pack for Crysis 2 has just been released for PC and X360 and is priced at $9.99. The Decimation Pack includes five new maps and two new weapons. You can view a trailer for this DLC after the jump. Will Crytek be able to keep their promise and release this Summer the CryEngine SDK, the Crysis 2 Editor and the DX11 patch? We can only hope to. In a turn of events, EA decided to pull Crysis 2 from Valve’s distribution service, Steam. The game is now available only through Origin, EA’s new digital distribution store. Funny thing is that the Steam version of Crysis 2 was quite successful and we don’t know if EA decided to pull it in order to promote as much as they can their own digital distribution store.
