Electronic Arts has released a new episode of its ‘Gameplay Series’ for Criterion’s upcoming racer, Need For Speed: Most Wanted. This video focuses on the cops that will be featured in the game, and how players can overcome roadblocks by taking advantage of the whole city itself. Maxis and Electronic Arts have released a 10 minutes gameplay video for SimCity. This is the first gameplay footage of this new SimCity game, in which producer Stone Librande walks us through the basic strategies and simulation of the game. According to the dev team, players can ultimately do whatever they want as they can focus on growing your population or increasing wealth or even build a city that looks like your hometown. Whatever your motivation, you’ll have to the power to experiment with a number of different strategies. SimCity is currently planned for a 2013 release, exclusively on the PC. Enjoy! Electronic Arts and BioWare have announced a new multiplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3. Available to download at no additional charge, Mass Effect 3: Retaliation ups the challenge by adding treacherous environmental hazards to existing maps and will introduce the infamous Collectors as a new enemy faction in multiplayer. Mass Effect 3: Retaliation will be available for download on October 9 on Xbox LIVE and the Origin client software and on PlayStation Network in North America on October 9 and in Europe on October 10. Electronic Arts has released a new trailer for Danger Close Studios’ Medal of Honor: Warfighter. According to the publisher, combat driving is a critical skill in urban environments as ambushes happen at a moment’s notice. Being able to instantaneously flip that switch from normal to full on and tactfully using your vehicle as your weapon can help you live to fight another day. Now this is bloody amazing. Reddit’s user ‘sharpless512‘ shared some interesting wallpapers, showcasing war movies posters that have been recreated in Battlefield 3. Okay, let’s be honest here; one of the most controversial – graphical – things of Battlefield 3 was its blue tint filter that was used. We don’t know why DICE decided to go that route (must be the same reason the decided to overuse those Anamorphic Lens), but we’re thankful that there are modders out there, willing to go the extra mile and improve the game’s visuals. Red Sand: A Mass Effect Film is a short live action film that is produced by the students and faculty of the Digital Video Program at the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona. DICE has announced the winners for its ‘Only In Battlefield 3′ contest. According to the company, over 1,200 fan made Battlefield 3 videos reached our inbox, and the level of quality was exceptional. The three winners are [GDO]Aziimut, MongolFPS and jackfrags. [GDO]Aziimut’s entry was focused on helicopters and how they can change the events of a match, while MongolFPS’ entry was dedicated to teamwork. Jackfrags though was the best – in our opinion – as it featured lots of action, great scenes and destruction. This could easily pass as an official trailer, so kudos to the player for achieving something like that. You can view all three videos below, so go ahead and take a look!
