Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Announced – Standalone Expansion – Releases January 2015

During this year’s PAX Prime, Deep Silver and Volition announced a new standalone expansion for Saints Row IV. This standalone expansion will be called Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, will come on both old-gen and current-gen platforms (including the PC) and will release this January. Metro Redux – First Update Adds Volumetric Lights Exclusively To The PC Version

Sacred 3 Former Dev Confesses – Game Should Be Named Differently But The “3” Obviously Sells Better

Sacred 3 was released earlier this month and to everyone’s surprise, it wasn’t a true successor to the Sacred series. The game lacked a lot of features, felt underwhelmed, and was not as good as Sacred 2. In short, it was a major disappointment for fans of the series and according to a former dev, everyone (including both the development team and the publisher) already knew that this game was never meant to be a true sequel to Sacred 2. Deep Silver showcased its upcoming zombie FPS, Dead Island 2, at this year’s Gamescom and IGN has shared the first gameplay video from it. Risen 3: Titan Lords – PC Performance Analysis

Risen 3: Titan Lords has just been released and Deep Silver was kind enough to provide us with a review code for our PC Performance Analysis purposes. Risen 3: Titan Lords is powered by Genome Engine and its latest version is said to scale incredibly well on multiple CPU cores.  Thankfully, Piranha Bytes has delivered on that area, however the game is plagued by other issues that we’ll cover below.
