Bohemia has released a brand new update for the standalone version of DayZ. According to the release notes, update 1.06 adds bears and four new weapons. New DayZ beta patch reworks vehicle physics, improves heavy hit animations and more

Bohemia Interactive has released a new beta patch for DayZ. According to the release notes, this patch will update your game’s version to 0.63.149525 and comes with reworked vehicle physics, improvements to vehicles simulation, minor improvement to IK poses, minor improvements to heavy hit animations and animations for drop item in different stances. DayZ has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide

Bohemia Interactive has announced that it has just welcomed the four millionth Survivor into the post-apocalyptic land of Chernarus – the fictional world where DayZ takes place. DayZ will get a new engine upgrade in a couple of weeks on the PC

It appears that the standalone version of DayZ will receive a major engine upgrade really soon. As Eugen Harton, lead producer at developers Bohemia, told PCGamesN, the team is currently working on upgrading DayZ’s game engine and will release this new version in a couple of weeks.
