Codemasters released today some new screenshots, as well as ‘World Series Racing Part 1: An American Dream’, the first in a new series of trailers for its upcoming racer, GRID 2. The video is narrated by Patrick Callahan, the entrepreneur and founder of World Series Racing, the fictional cross-discipline motor racing championship that runs throughout GRID 2, who introduces his vision for the series and its beginnings in the USA. In the video, Callahan outlines his plans for a new motorsports series and introduces players to two key racing clubs he needs to recruit as in-game footage showcases some of GRID 2’s American locations, including Street Racing in Chicago, Track Racing at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Road Racing at the dramatic California Coast. Codemasters has revealed – via the game’s official FB page – a bunch of screenshots for GRID 2. In this huge set, the company included some new, previously unreleased, images that can be viewed below. As you may already know, GRID 2 won’t feature any cockpit view, something that made pretty much everyone upset. GRID 2 is currently planned for a May 2013 release on X360, PS3 and PC. Enjoy! Codemasters today released a new video combining both dramatic live action and stunning in-game footage of two 592bhp McLaren MP4-12cs racing at the world famous Brands Hatch circuit. Codemasters announced today that F1 RACE STARS will ship to stores in North America today and race into retail in the UK on Friday 16th November for X360, PS3 and from Steam for Windows PC.
