PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold more than 10 million copies

Bluehole announced today that as of September 1st, PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) – the first standalone Battle Royale video game – has sold over 10 million units since its Steam Early Access launch on March 23rd. PUBG also set a new mark for peak concurrent users (e.g. CCU) with over 970,000, highlighted by the strong reception at the PUBG Invitational at gamescom 2017. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold six million copies in four months, adds micro-transactions for Gamescom 2017

Bluehole announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has sold more than six million copies in four months since its Early Access launch on March 23, 2017 with peak concurrent users, again surpassing the 422,000 mark with 422,618 simultaneous players at one time on Steam. Playerunknown’s Battleground is the 4th game with the highest peak player count on Steam, closes to 5 million units

Playerunknown’s Battleground appears to be a huge success on the PC. According to Steamcharts, Bluehole’s battle-royale title has managed to top Grand Theft Auto V and has climbed in the 4th place of Steam’s games with the highest peak player count of all time. Not only that, but according to Steamspy, the game closes to 5 million sold copies, even though it’s still in its Early Access program. Bluehole Studio has announced that a FOV slider will be coming to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in the next monthly update. Bluehole Studio has just announced that PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS has sold 4 million copies in just three months. What’s really surprising here is that Steamspy’s data are lower than what Bluehole Studio reports (usually Steamspy’s data is approximately the same or a bit higher than the actual sales). Bluehole Studio has announced that a new update will allow players to climb and vault over obstacles in PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS. In addition, a new weather system will be introduced to this battle-royale first-person shooter.
