The time has come our dear Diablo fans. Yes, after almost 12 years, Diablo III is finally here with us. Blizzard’s action hack n slash RPG has been released in Europe. Some of you will be excited, some of you might get disappointed with its visual art style, some may be infuriated by the early/launch issues, some may feel that it was not worth the wait, while others will get a boner while playing it. I seriously don’t know if there is anything to save this year’s E3. Okay, I’m exaggerating as there is something that is called next-generation consoles but apart from that, we’ve got some awful news these past days about this year’s gaming expo. Konami will not be showing their new ‘Fox Engine’ in E3, Rockstar will not attend, Valve is said that it will not announce any new game – despite fans’ hopes for something more than that – and yesterday, Blizzard revealed that they will be not attending E3… again. Blizzard revealed today that it has reached an agreement with Valve regarding the trademark issue with DOTA. According to the agreement, Valve will continue to use DOTA commercially, including DOTA 2, while Blizzard will preserve noncommercial use of DOTA for its community with regard to player-created maps for Warcraft III and StarCraft II. Good news for Diablo fans as the official website of Diablo III has been 100% revealed and Blizzard has released the animated short film that is based on it. Long before the creation of Sanctuary, the Eternal Conflict between angels and demons raged on for untold millennia. Blizzard Entertainment teamed up with renowned director Peter Chung and acclaimed animation studio Titmouse to create this unique vision of a fundamental moment in the battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells. Awesome news for anime and Diablo fans as Blizzard’s upcoming Diablo III will get an animated short film. Diablo III: Wrath is directed by Peter Chung and will tell the breakdown of the angels players will be able to see inside the minds of the angels and understand how they do and don’t work together.
