Hooray. Diablo 3 WILL have public chat channels; coming soon to the beta via a patch

All hell has broken loose when Blizzard’s community manager, Bashiok, tweeted that Diablo 3 would not support chat channels. We can’t see anything wrong with that – as PC gamers can use Teamspeak and other similar programs – but it seems that a lot of you got annoyed by that. And naturally, a lot of Diablo fans started complaining and thought that Blizzard have turned their back on them. Well, good news everyone as Bashiok was wrong and public chat channels WILL be available in Diablo 3. In fact, they’ll be in an upcoming beta patch so PC gamers will get to see and play around with them really soon. Continue reading Hooray. Diablo III will be ‘color-blind’ friendly; game is built with that in mind

You know what? Color-blind gamers have the right to enjoy each and every game. Most of them can’t distinguish the difference between green and red hues but that doesn’t mean that they are bad players or that they are not as hardcore as most of you. And thankfully, Blizzard’s upcoming action RPG game will be quite friendly to all color-blind gamers, as the game is built with those gamers in mind. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Infected Mode to be added to the Community Playlists this Sunday

One of the coolest game modes of Modern Warfare 3 is definitely the Infected Mode. However, this mode was available only in private matches and was kind of frustrating to get in it. Thankfully, all this will change and Infected will find its way to our Playlists, as Robert Bowling has revealed that this game mode will be added to the Community Playlists this weekend on X360 and PS3. Naturally, the PC version will be slightly delayed but hopefully that delay won’t be long. This basically will end all those invitations that you had been getting from random players to private infection matches. And yeah, this new mode will be available to ALL players. Classic MW2 map, HighRise, will return in Modern Warfare 3; hinted at the latest Call of Duty ELITE Trailer

I know, I know, the latest trailer for Call of Duty’s ELITE service is cheesy as hell. But we were surprised to find out that the classic MW2 map, Highrise, would return in a new map pack for Modern Warfare 3. Sad thing is that PC gamers will have to wait a little bit more as console gamers will be the first ones to get the new maps. In the following video, and at around 0:50, the Highrise map can be easily spotted, though it looks more like a mix between Highrise + Saffron City from Super Smash Bros. No ETA has been announced as of yet for this new map pack. Continue reading Classic MW2 map, HighRise, will return in Modern Warfare 3; hinted at the latest Call of Duty ELITE Trailer

Robert Bowling reveals that only a very small percentage of players took advantage of the prestige token glitch

The prestige token glitch is one of the worst glitches ever in Modern Warfare 3. It was this glitch that led Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games to ban some users for taking advantage of it. Given its publicity, we’d expect to see a huge number from players exploiting this glitch, but Robert Bowling has just revealed that the actual percentage of the gamers who were caught exploiting it, is only 0.1%, which means that 99.9% of MW3 players are playing it fair and square.
