Dying Light: The Beast Update 1.3 Released – Full Patch Notes

Techland has released Title Update 1.3 for Dying Light: The Beast and shared its full patch notes. So, let’s see what this new update brings to the table.

Patch 1.3 brings a number of balance tweaks. For instance, it increases the amount of oxidizers looted. It also reduces the cost of wirings used for weapons crafting and upgrading. The devs have introduced a new assortment to vendors with more craft parts towards the end of the game. Plus, survivors in Encounters are now more resistant to player and enemy hits.

Update 1.3 also brings better performance and stability. It makes the game more stable when creating new saves and during long play sessions. It also fixes several crash issues on all platforms. In addition, the update solves problems that caused FPS drops and performance issues in co-op mode. Finally, it improves visual quality by fixing LOD and texture loading problems.

For those wondering, this patch does not include the promised Ray Tracing effects. Those will come in a future update. However, the developers have fixed several graphics problems in the game. For example, they fixed lighting and visual bugs in different missions and on multiple platforms. They also corrected several visual glitches and small graphic errors. In addition, the update fixes camera problems and visual issues that appeared during certain quests.
